We have learned that this batch of 41 tons of garlic seeds with a value of more than 400,000 yuan will be exported to Japan in a shipping container tomorrow. This is also the first time in the history of Nantong to export plant seeds. In February this year, the Huayong Siqing Crop Professional Cooperative in Linjiang Town, Haimen City was established, attracting 219 local farmers to participate in the cooperative. At present, the garlic planting base covers an area of 500 mu, which adopts unified seed selection, unified management, and unified standard fertilization.
